This module aims to help employers, line managers, and supervisors understand their responsibilities regarding employees they are responsible for on a day-to-day basis.
The course consists of:
Part 1:
- A general overview of the Equality Act 2010
- A more in-depth look into the Disability element of the Equality Act 2010 and subsequent legislation
- How this translates to the working practice of the employer
- Open discussion around common pitfalls, mistakes and concerns
Part 2:
- Personalised dive into the employers current practice and identification of where improvement might be made – with a defined plan for future working practice.
This course takes around 2.5 hours to complete and can be delivered to 5 – 8 members of staff at a time at your workplace (or an external venue if necessary).
